Children who turn 5 from September 2, 2023 through April 2, 2024 are eligible to enroll in TK for the 2023-24 school year.
This is a two year program.
To enter kindergarten Pursuant to EC 48000(a), a child is eligible for kindergarten if the child will have his or her fifth birthday by September 1st.
For first grade enrollment, California law requires a child to be six years old on or before September 1st of that school year.
